How could I not bring up the absolute beauty this time of year brings to our attention? While most of you may be in the midst of fully enjoying your blooming spring, in the north we are just finally beginning to bring out our yard furniture, cleaning our yards from the long winter and planting our gardens. No matter where you are in your season, take a minute to admire the rebirth of your home outdoors and bring into focus the never changing cycles of nature. We can definitely learn something from it.
Just like the seasons we go through our ups and downs, releasing old pieces of ourselves that no longer serve us, going dormant in our self reflections and rest, growing anew into a beautiful newer version of ourselves, but don’t forget to just enjoy the phase we are in - even if it is just for a short while before starting again. Nature is reminding me of this process as am connecting more with the plants, trees, animals and just simply walking outside barefoot again (without getting frostbite).
We are beautiful beings of light that are here temporarily to experience this process of ebb and flow, loss and gain, birth and death, mistakes and creation. The changes we go through while in this human form is the exact purpose to why we are here. When life becomes too heavy and we begin to feel weighed down by the responsibility, heartache, illness, trauma, etc. take a moment and step outside. Allow Mother Gaia to remind you that you are a part of this natural system of Earth, going through cycles that will forever keep changing which does have a purpose in the end.
All of these seemingly small changes and experiences we endure and release teaches us more compassion, understanding, love and wisdom for ourselves and our family of light. We are all bonded in this experience, as the trees and plants change with the seasons, we too are connected in this cycle. We are all experiencing many of the same changes and connected by our root system of light. I feel your experiences just as you feel mine. Today I just wanted to send you love and tell you that you are doing amazing. None of us are getting through this ‘perfectly’ (not even possible), but we are moving, changing and evolving with every smilingly small or largely impossible movement we make. That is the purpose in the end… we did, we failed, we lost, we loved, we tried, we got up again, we forgave, we healed and we lived.
